I am looking to get LASIK surgery in the summer :) Good luck to everyone who is also considering it! I’ve been thinking about it for a while now, and I feel like summer is the perfect time to do it. After doing a lot of research, I’m feeling more confident about the decision. I know there’s a bit of recovery time involved, but the thought of not having to rely on glasses or contacts anymore is so exciting. I’ve worn glasses since I was a kid, and contacts for the past few years, so I’m really looking forward to the freedom that LASIK could bring.

I’m making sure to follow all the pre-surgery instructions, like not wearing contacts in the weeks leading up to the procedure. I’ve read that it helps get your eyes in the best possible shape for surgery, which I think is good advice. Plus, I’m looking forward to the fact that LASIK has such a high success rate—most people experience amazing results with clearer vision right away!
