I had a primary eyelid surgery back in 2007 and was happy with my eyes. Due to aging and my eyes didn't look the same anymore, so I decided to have a revision surgery in November, 2023 to revive the "young" look of my past eyes. Unfortunately, when my doctor cut the lid open, he noticed the muscle on my left eye was damaged (torn). He tried his best to fix it together with the ptosis correction, but he was not so sure if my eyes will turn out ok. Now at 100 days post-op, my eyes are very asymmetrical. The right eye is ok, but sometimes looks very hooded with tiny crease (much smaller and subtler than what I like), and the left eye is sure to have some muscle damage- it got severe ptosis and still looks swollen. I'm doing more research for another revision, but I'm so scared that things will go wrong again, as this will be my 3rd surgery. I'm looking to have dolly eyes with smooth outline and higher creases. If anyone knows of a good doctor who can fix more complicated cases, please let me know!
