I am a 56-year-old Korean woman. Ten years ago, I had double eyelid surgery using the buried suture method. Recently, my eyelids started sagging significantly, making it difficult to open my eyes, so I decided to undergo revision surgery. I had the surgery at Custom Plastic Surgery next to Kyobo Bookstore in Gangnam.
I chose this clinic through an acquaintance's recommendation. During the consultation, the doctor’s sincere and confident explanation gave me trust, so I booked the surgery right away.
The surgery took quite a long time, which the doctor explained was because I also underwent lateral canthoplasty. The procedure lasted about 4 hours, followed by 1 hour of recovery, totaling approximately 5 hours. The surgery was performed under partial sedation, with the doctor meticulously checking the condition of my eyes throughout the process. This thoroughness built great trust in the doctor. Although the cost seemed a bit high at first, the satisfaction level far exceeds the price.
It has been two weeks since the surgery, and there is no inconvenience going out. One eye still has noticeable swelling that hasn't subsided, but overall, I find opening my eyes much more comfortable, and the shape appears relatively natural. The procedures I underwent were diagonal epicanthoplasty, fat repositioning, incisional double eyelid surgery, and lateral canthoplasty.
There was almost no pain after the surgery. The first week was slightly uncomfortable due to the swelling, but after that, there were no major inconveniences in daily life. Choosing a clinic can be very difficult after multiple consultations, but I believe this clinic is the best for eye surgeries. I highly recommend this clinic.
