i think if you do a lot of research to make sure the clinic you’re doing it at is good, it should be fine!

I think it is normal to feel doubt after booking a surgery.  I have definitely cancelled a surgery I've booked before because I was too scared.  I think if your pros outweigh your fears of swelling etc, then go for it.  But if not, then maybe wait until you're more comfortable.
