I started proofreading about four years ago, and I think it's been over a year since it was completely completed (including additional re-proofing). The total correction period took a little over 3 years, the first correction took about 2 years, and the second correction took a little less than a year. One of my lower teeth was pushed back due to lack of space between my front and lower teeth, and my upper teeth were also slightly twisted due to lack of space. The first reason I decided to get braces was for cosmetic purposes. So, I persuaded my parents to go to the cheapest place possible, and the initial cost was about 450, and I think I spent about 500 including the retainer and other minor checkups. I said there was no space, so I had four teeth extracted, two at the top and bottom, and I think they were made of metal. I went through a lot of hard work over the past three years and had a lot of worries and concerns, but I think I was satisfied with the results. There seem to be clear pros and cons, but to summarize, [Advantages] My teeth changed evenly, giving me a much more luxurious impression. I can smile brightly when taking pictures. I have become better at taking care of my teeth by using an interdental brush or waterpik. [Disadvantages] Wearing a retainer for life. Retainer for lower teeth. I always feel like the tooth itself has become weak (throbbing, floating feeling, swollen when menstruation approaches). Should I call it a white cavity in the part where the black triangle overlaps? Since I didn't remove it , it still remains... . Because of orthodontic treatment, the chin goes back a lot, so the cute face disappears, and there are times when it feels like a very fine joint, the face becomes longer, etc... After writing it this way, I see that there are a lot more disadvantages… ^^; Still, I have no regrets!! If you're going to do it instead, I recommend correcting it by removing wisdom teeth instead of extracting teeth as much as possible (unless you really need space). Tooth extraction orthodontic treatment really changes your face... Although it becomes tidy, it loses a lot of the cute and natural feel... . If you are doing it for external reasons, definitely do it! I hope you keep that in mind haha
