hello!
I was contemplating double jaw surgery due to severe malocclusion, and
at the end of August last year, I received double jaw + 3 types of contouring (zygoma + square jaw + front jaw) at Waigugang. Six months have passed since then.
Now that I feel like living, I can sleep well even when lying on my side! I also chew my food well.
(Perhaps because the orthodontic treatment is not yet complete, it is difficult to eat fiber such as enoki mushrooms, kimchi, and bean sprouts.)
I stopped by the hospital to check on my progress and came to see the director. “You’re adjusting well, so I guess your face was like this before, right?” While doing so, he showed me a comparison of photos taken before and on the day of surgery. Wow... . yes… I had forgotten it. Haha, when I visited for the 3 month progress check, it seemed like the swelling had gone down on its own! I went there, but when I looked at the picture I took, I realized it wasn’t true, right? But after 6 months, it seemed like only minor swelling remained! I originally had developed cheekbones and chin, so I had severe nasolabial folds. Maybe that's why I looked prettier after the 3rd month when I had some swelling. In my eyes! ㅠㅎㅎㅎ Looking at other reviews, I saw that that was why they were thinking about fat grafting, and I guess I'm in the same situation. Anyway, I want to get the pins removed as soon as possible so I can sleep more freely~~ When I think about correction costs, surgery costs, pin removal costs, and other related expenses, as well as the fear and fear of major surgery, I still think about it once in a while. I wish I had done it, but if they asked me to have surgery again, I would do it. (I said I wouldn't do it again until a month later) I would like to tell those who have been worried for the same reason for a long time like me to take courage. From my experience, the pain I received or will receive in the future from the gaze, words, and actions of those around me and myself due to malocclusion was greater than the pain caused by the surgery. Now, I love that I can smile brightly and make a variety of natural facial expressions when taking pictures without having to cover my mouth! When someone looks at me, I look at them with confidence, and my self-esteem has increased. I would like to thank the director and hospital staff once again for completing the surgery without any problems.
