Time has flown by and it has been 6 months since I started orthognathic treatment.
I have been diagnosed with malocclusion since elementary school, and my tongue was located on my lower teeth. Since it was comfortable, I thought that was how it was supposed to be, but it turned out not to be the case.
I have had a bit of a chin problem since I was young, so it was very stressful during my school days.
So, among many hospitals , I performed
two jaw surgery and 3 types of contouring (zygoma, square jaw, and front jaw) at Y Oral Surgery
! I have no idea how the surgery went and how difficult it was :)
After 2-3 months, I'm just living my daily life like before the surgery! I'm happy!
I often hear from friends I haven't seen in a long time, "Why did you lose weight? You've become prettier?"
I eat everything I can, and I exercise from high to moderate intensity.
They said that the major swelling would go away after 3 months, and many reviews said the same, but
for me, it seemed to go away after 3 months and even after 5-6 months! Those who had surgery... just wait! It may not be your real face~
After 3 months, I thought it was my own face, but I liked it even more because the slight swelling went down :)
Now, it feels like almost all of it has disappeared, but I'll tell you more! Haha,
I also lost a lot of weight, but now I've gained 2-3 kilos, but my face is much smaller!
Director Lee Seok-jae also said that the bone was well healed and that I should receive laser treatment.
Even when comparing before and after photos at the hospital, the asymmetry seems to have completely improved.
My friends may not know my face, but more than anything, I find it stressful for myself.
And even in the photo, it feels asymmetrical, and I think I would do it again even if I were to go back to how I was before the surgery. I want to do it earlier haha when I have more elasticity. . I would like to recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it right now.
Additionally, I am going to another dentist because of implants, and the dentist there saw me and said that the surgery was done very neatly. He asked me what kind of person I was.
I trusted him because I knew he was good, so I went to this hospital, but even after seeing the professional doctor, I was impressed. So I thought it was a really good thing that Director Seokjae Lee did it :)
