Hello,
it has been three months since I had double jaw surgery + 2 types of contouring (square jaw, front jaw)!
I had surgery because of my jutting chin, long chin, and facial asymmetry. Now, three months later, I am able to maintain the same daily life as before the surgery! Haha,
I avoided chewy food for the second month, but recently we had a buffet dinner, so I ate steak and pork. There is no food I can’t eat anymore!
Pork belly, lamb, beef, pork cutlet, walnuts, raw chestnuts, and almonds are all available. I won’t cut it anymore and just eat like normal!
Instead, my chewing speed slowed down a bit due to correction.
The mouth can fit up to four fingers vertically!
The swelling between the gums has gone down and it has improved compared to two months ago. It's still a bit tight.
And the umpha umpha that didn't work for two months is now working well as the swelling in the philtrum has gone down a bit. So I got better at applying lipstick! Originally, only one side of my lower lip muscle was not going down well, but it has recovered and is now working well! I guess time is a medicine.
Instead, do you feel a tingling sensation when you touch one side of your chin? I still feel like I'm being anesthetized, but there's no discomfort in my daily life! It seems like I'm continuing to recover.
Still, when I make a right mouth shape, the muscle under the chin where the t-section was made protrudes, but the doctor said that this is a soluble thread that will dissolve in 6 months, and it will look natural by then, so I am waiting with peace of mind.
My allergic rhinitis is getting better after washing my nose and spraying rhinitis spray, but I still have a bit of a runny nose, but since both my noses are open, I don't feel uncomfortable when I sleep!
During the second month, it felt like my uvula was slightly touching the root of my tongue, but now that feeling is gone. I think it was more because of the swelling. It is now possible to sweep the upper teeth with the tongue. However
, the swelling in the philtrum has lessened, so when I close my mouth, the muscles around my mouth appear tense, so I open my lips slightly by about 2mm.
So, I haven’t had my passport photo taken yet, and I don’t take photos with an expressionless face! Instead, I like the way she smiles, so I smile in every photo. Previously, the upper jaw was long and a lot of the gums were visible, but now it looks at an appropriate level, which is good. The nose gradually returned to its original size. Until the first and second month, I felt like my nose was really puffy, but I think it was because of the swelling in the bridge of my nose. Now it just feels like my old nose. Recently, I took four pictures of my life by myself haha. The swelling still doesn't give me a sharp jawline and I think it needs to go down more, but I like it because it's cute haha. Even when it rains, my bones don't get cold. I think double jaw surgery has become safer thanks to technological advancements. Before the surgery, I can continue my daily life as usual without any inconveniences. Highly recommended if you're thinking about it!
