I've been working hard since July to prepare.
Although it's hot, I think I've been to every hospital in Seoul that does philtrum reduction, thinking about my philtrum getting shorter.
I had the surgery in mid-September, the week before Chuseok.
I uploaded the after-image below with the photos I took at the follow-up last week. It's definitely colder, so the incision line under my nose is more visible. I think it's because I also have redness.
It doesn't look that bad normally. I think I don't know it when I put on makeup.
I don't have much feeling around my philtrum, so when I smile or make a facial expression, I sometimes look like a fool.
When I open and close my mouth wide, it still feels tight, so when it's pulled, I immediately close my mouth.
I think there are only advantages besides disadvantages.
Before the surgery, it was 22mm, 2.2cm, and after the surgery, it was 17mm, 1.7cm. It's
not easy to manage for two months, but I don't think it's impossible.
I applied medicine well and avoided drinking and sleeping late to help with recovery, so my body is doing well. It seems like it's getting better...
