I had a medial philtrum reduction surgery around mid-June.
It went from 2.2cm before the surgery to 1.7cm after the surgery.
I had the surgery at Mano, which has many reviews here.
I thought it would be harder to manage if I had the surgery in the summer, but since that was the only time I had, I made up my mind and had the surgery. The weather right now is really good for surgery..ㅎㅎ
The surgery I was most worried about was the scar, but honestly, I can't say that I have no scar at all. But I'm more satisfied than I thought, compared to what I was worried about and what I saw in other reviews. Even at
3 months, my philtrum would sometimes pull when I spoke, so I didn't use my upper lip, so my pronunciation was slurred, and there was a part where I couldn't feel the sensation in the middle of my philtrum, but
from 4 months on, all the sensation in my philtrum came back. It still pulls a little sometimes when I open my mouth wide, but it doesn't really affect me when I buy things.
Especially since the weather is nice, it's really easy to manage now...
When I first started managing in the summer, I would apply the medicine and come out, and even after 10 minutes, I would sweat and wipe all the medicine off, and it would be hard. For those of you with a nasal congestion, I recommend now because I think now is the best time to get the surgery.
