- [ ] Day 1: I originally made an appointment for 2-stage double chin muscle binding, but the doctor said it was too bad after looking at the CT scan until the day of, so I changed it to 3-stage. I've had a clown complex since elementary school, but after going into the operating room and lying down, before going under anesthesia, I debated whether I should just live with a round face or not and get surgery, and then I fell asleep. I went into surgery around 10:30, and when I heard someone in the recovery room asking what time it was, I was resting after the surgery was done around 2:30. I'm glad I'm alive. It was so cold and painful... I really never want to go through this again. It hurt, but it was so cold that I shivered. I shivered for almost 2 hours and even when I went into the single-person hospital room. When the cold was getting better, I gradually felt pain in my chin. I could bear it, but maybe a 7 out of 10...? They said they were taking painkillers, but my jaw was numb and throbbing, and it really hurt like someone had pressed my jaw against the asphalt like it was on the internet... I kept worrying about when it would get better and falling asleep and waking up because it hurt...ㅋㅋ It was so horrible. After the surgery, I vowed never to have another surgery. Hmm, and my jaw was so tight because of the tightness. I was thirsty and hungry, but I didn't think much because I was in pain and my body was so tired. Ah... It hurts... How long will it hurt... Ah... Time, hurry up... All I could think was that. Ah, and my runny nose and phlegm kept coming out mixed with blood, and my nose and throat were so tight. I really don't recommend getting rhinoplasty and contouring surgery togetherㅠ I feel like I can't breathe. Think about it seriously again - [ ] Day 2: The pain was similar to the first day of surgery. Even though it was swollen, my face looked smooth in the pictures so I was embarrassed. Oh but my right cheekbone was so swollen that my lower eyelashes poked my eyeball... Sob, it was torture. Anyway, similar to the first day, I had pain, took out the catheter, and was discharged after draining the blood. I was scared because taking out the catheter and the blood were painful, but I don't think I need to worry that much. The doctor came for rounds and congratulated me on the successful surgery~ Anyway, I was so hungry that I felt like I was going to pass out. I fasted for 10 hours the day before the surgery, so I fasted for a total of 36 hours... As soon as I got home, I ate porridge and woke up in pain, then when I came to, I applied a cold compress and went back to sleep and woke up again. Then, I heard that taking a walk helps reduce the swelling, so I went to the school playground in front of my house and ran 10 laps and came back. - [ ] Day 3: The pain has gone down a lot. Now it's time to fight the swelling... My body still feels like it hasn't recovered, so I'm tired and exhausted. I slept sitting up and my skin rash came up right before bedsores. It was so itchy that I put a soft blanket on my butt and turned my body to the side to sleep. It doesn’t seem to be much different in terms of recovery from the 1st or 2nd day. It’s just the same amount of swelling and the pain feels a little better. But my coughing has gotten worse and my voice still hasn’t come back ㅠㅠ I was a little tired that day so I only went for a walk for about 20 minutes? - [ ] Day 4: I thought I was falling because of the cough. I kept coughing when I was awake… My throat was still sore and I couldn’t speak… It was just a hoarse voice haha. I was afraid my face would be hit because of the coughing, so I held my chin and cheekbones with my hand and coughed. I took some cough medicine I had at home and it got a little better, but the effect was only temporary ㅠㅠ... The good thing was that the pain was completely gone and the swelling around my eyes went down a little, so my lower eyelashes poked my eyes less often. Before, they would poke me all the time, but now they only last for half a day. I took a walk for about an hour - [ ] Day 5: I still have a bad cough... When I looked it up online, it said it was a symptom of laryngitis under general anesthesia? It should get better in about a week to 10 days, so let's just hold my chin and cough until then!^^ Um and I washed my hair. Since it's summer, I just showered every day, but I didn't wash my hair for 5 days because I was worried that water might get into my cheekbone incision while washing it. It was so gross, so I just took off the dressing, disinfected it, put on an acne patch, put on some Inoderm? or something big, and washed my hair twice. It was so refreshing and good. And the taping got really wet while I was washing my hair, so I just took it off and did it again at home. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just used medical tape and a taping bandage? If there's anything that increases, it wouldn't be difficult to do it, good^^* My cough is still bad, but my voice is about 40% back. Since there was a heavy rain warning outside, I turned on the air conditioner and rested comfortably at home...!!! Up to here,,, I found what I wrote in a notepad, so I'm uploading it. At that time, I coughed so much that my ribs were in pain ㅠ Now I'm doing really well and my mouth can open well! If I press hard on the cheekbone, it still hurts, but it's less painful than when I press when I have a bruise! My satisfaction level is 3 out of 5~ Because I pursued natural beauty, it didn't change much ㅋㅋㅋ It's just that the lines were organized? Side effects 1. My jaw joint cracked after surgery...ㅠ -> They say this is because your jaw joint is getting worse. It was already bad, but the sound got louder ㅎㅎ............ What the f*ck 2. Sagging -> It's not there now, but I think there's some sagging on the side of my arms? and I think I've got a double chin. I'm the only one who knows, but I think I need to take good care of it with laser. No matter how small the amount of surgery is, it still seems to sag. 3. Cheek sagging I already had sagging cheeks, but they got worse after the surgery. A friend even asked me why...lol But I'm satisfied with the surgery enough to consider all the side effects! Would I go back? It's a bit ambiguous. I still have a bit of a wide and bulging feeling, but I'm pretty satisfied~
