I had long curved square jaw resection + cortical osteotomy surgery on June 14th. As I began to pay attention to my appearance in middle school, my square jaw naturally became an eyesore and bothered me. After I became an adult, before the surgery, I covered my chin every time I took a picture. I didn't have a photo without it, and even if I didn't hide my chin, I was always busy shaving my chin with Photoshop. So, while I was making up my mind to save up money and get square jaw surgery, last year, by chance, someone on Instagram posted a picture of Yang Yoon-dol before and after double jaw surgery. After seeing that you took a video and uploaded it as a reel, I became interested, so I learned about the hospital through a comment and received a consultation through KakaoTalk first. The manager helped me with kind and detailed counseling, and after that, the director also provided accurate and necessary advice. I was working at a company and was scheduled to resign soon, so when I did, I contacted them a month in advance and told them I would set up a surgery date. It was Friday, June 14th. Long curved square jaw surgery and cortical osteotomy were performed. On the day of the surgery and the next day, I had to spend the entire time in the bathroom because I felt sick to my stomach, and I could hardly eat, so I couldn't take my medicine well. However, from the third day, the pain subsided and I felt better, and I was able to eat porridge and take medicine. On the first day and for about a week, I couldn't open my mouth well, so I had to use a teaspoon. Half of it was spilled while eating porridge, but after about 2 weeks, I could barely fit in a regular spoon. I think I kept trying to open my mouth. If I didn't do that, I would get hungry and it would be very difficult because I couldn't eat anything... haha. The change in my jaw took about 3 weeks, and I felt like, "Oh, it's a little different?" and people around me who didn't know about the surgery didn't tell me about it. I'm very satisfied now that it's done so naturally that you wouldn't even notice it. When I compare before and after photos of the surgery, I can really see a big difference, and I'm very happy these days as I hear friends who know I had the surgery tell me that their face got smaller and it looked natural. Haha. It seems like it started to widen little by little in about a week. Even now, it hasn't completely opened up yet, but they say that I just need to keep practicing Aeoyu. There's still some minor swelling, so I have to apply a lot of heat, but I'm looking forward to seeing how much it changes once the minor swelling goes down. I had plastic surgery for self-satisfaction, but I am very satisfied. The doctor did a really good job :) If you are thinking about square jaw surgery, I recommend Yang Yun-dol Hospital!!
