I had cheek contouring surgery at another hospital about two years ago. But as people who have had facial contouring surgery know, you have to be very careful about your face, right? They said that if I had a major accident or had facial surgery later, the pins remaining on my face could make the process more cumbersome or cost more. The surgery itself seems to have taken about an hour, and swelling and pain were not noticeable. I think it was about 1/3 of what it was. (This is my personal feeling!) So, when I got up and said, "Oh, it's easy," and was about to leave, I was told to rest a little more and went to the hospital by 10 o'clock and came out around 2-3 o'clock. All I did was remove the pins, but they kindly gave me something like an ice pack to help me get rid of the swelling. After wearing it for a few days, the swelling went down. It was great.
I was relieved that there was no swelling on the 1st day, but by the 2nd and 3rd days, it was completely ballooned. My face started to tingle and I thought something was going to happen, but for some reason, that's when I was at my best~!! As I continued taking antibiotics and gargling my mouth with the prescribed medication frequently, the swelling gradually went down, and on the 7th day, when I went to get the stitches removed. I'm back to my normal-looking face, but it's been almost two weeks now and there are still some bruises left after the surgery! If I cover it up with makeup or wear a mask, it disappears completely, so it doesn't interfere with my daily life
