Hello! This is a review after 7 months of contouring.
I have a wide U-shaped jawline + my cheek fat doesn't go away even after dieting, so I look very chubby whenever I take a picture, and my cheekbones are prominent. I can count the number of times I've taken pictures in my life on one hand.
However, it took me quite a while to decide to get the surgery. My flaws only stand out in the pictures, but in reality, my face shape didn't look like there was anything wrong with it.ㅠㅠ

For those who have made up their minds to get the surgery, I will briefly summarize the process.
Don't think about dieting until the surgery, and just eat well. Anyway, you won't be able to eat anything for a week after fasting before the surgery, so you'll need to endure it.
The surgery itself was fine because you could just wake up and be done, but as I heard, general anesthesia is so hard. When you wake up from the anesthesia, you'll be so sleepy, and your throat will feel like it's going to burst, so you'll want to drink water, but you absolutely can't sleep (you'll have to keep breathing deeply to remove the anesthesia gas) and you won't be able to drink water for 4 hours... This is hell... What kind of luxury am I supposed to live like this? I'll be like thisㅠㅠ Hehe
After 4 hours, they'll give you an electrolyte drink and you can start drinking from then! Then, a whole day will pass and you'll be discharged.
First, you'll be at your peak swelling by the 3rd day, and you'll be like, "This is really not right, is my face going to burst?" It's normal. Haha... In this situation, you can only drink liquids like soy milk for a week, and you can't brush your teethㅠㅠ It's the saddest timeㅠㅠ Make sure to take your medicine and gargle often!
After the second week, the swelling started to go down little by little, and I received high-frequency treatment from the hospital, and although my mouth didn't open much, I could eat and mash anything, and I gradually started to live a human life.
And for 1~2 months, I was very stressed because of the swelling, but after that, I let it go. It really goes down little by little (but please note that I have bruises and swelling for a long time)!
It's been 7 months now, and it's amazing how much it's gone down..! Everyone, don't worry, time heals the wound, so just wait and you'll feel better ㅠㅠ
I'm meeting up with my friends for the first time in a long time, and they all don't know that I had the surgery and say, "Huh? Did you lose a lot of weight?" and "Why did you look so pretty?" and I'm so happyㅎㅎ
Lastly, as someone who thinks that it's very important to keep in touch with the hospital after the surgery, I was very happy and grateful that communication was smooth even after the surgery.
I sent the director a ton of KakaoTalk messages until 2 months after the surgery..!
I was so scared and terrified of even the smallest symptoms that could occur after the surgery, such as bleeding in the early stages (the pooled fluid is coming out), abnormal skin sensation on the cheekbone, bone tingling, etc., that I contacted them very frequently. However, the director never showed any sign of annoyance and responded immediately and kindly, which helped me endure the difficult time.
