Hello! I am writing this to share my experience after having double eyelid natural adhesion surgery two months ago. I was worried a lot because it was a sudden decision, but now I am satisfied with the results.
1. Concerns and preparation before surgery
I originally had double eyelids, but they tend to come loose easily, so I was very stressed. So I looked for reviews of double eyelids, and among them, I saw a review by Director Lee Han-byeol of Aiting Plastic Surgery, and it was the kind of eyes I wanted. So I made a hasty decision to have the surgery, inquired about the hospital, and visited the hospital. The inside of the hospital was clean and nice, and I liked the consultation with the doctor, so I got the surgery right away in the style I wanted (natural outline)
.
2. Surgery process
The surgery was relatively short. I was very nervous because it was my first time having eye surgery, but it didn't hurt at all, which was amazing! After the surgery, I was applying ice packs in the recovery room, and the doctor came to look at my eyes and explain things to me, so I felt reassured.
3. The swelling was quite severe on the first day of the first week after the surgery
. However, I felt better day by day as I diligently applied ice packs and went for walks. The swelling was at its peak for the first 3 days, but it gradually subsided after that. On the other hand, it was a little awkward to open and close my eyes, but I quickly got used to it.
4. After the 2nd week
After 2 weeks, the swelling went down a lot, and natural lines started to appear.
People around me complimented me a lot, saying that I looked natural and that I looked prettier. I was especially satisfied with how my eyes changed when I put on makeup.
5. Final review after 2 months
It’s been a little over 2 months since I had the surgery, and the swelling has gone down a lot and I think it’s becoming more natural. The swelling is still going down, so I’m really looking forward to what my eyes will look like in 6 months. At first, I was worried that the surgery would be awkward, but now I’ve become so comfortable that I’ve even forgotten that I had the surgery.
Tips!
1) Get enough consultation when choosing a hospital, and clearly state the line you want.
2) Be sure to take thorough care after the surgery! Cold compresses and walking are essential. 3) Don’t be too hasty, and wait until the swelling goes down. You’ll be more satisfied with time.
I hope this helps those who are worried like me .
