<10/25>- My own honest review -
I had double eyelid surgery 10 years ago, but it started to unravel 2 years ago, so I ended up having second surgery. I have severe unraveling on my right and left eyes, a lot of fat, and a lot of space between my eyebrows and eyes.
When I consulted with the director, I told him that I wanted to make them a little bigger, but he said that it wouldn't be possible because my eyes are narrow, and that I would 100% regret it if I did. So he said that he would make them a little bigger based on my unraveled eyes. I also asked about my epicanthoplasty scar, and he said that it would look even weirder if I touched it up. Instead, he offered to reduce the gap with laser as a free service along with the double eyelid surgery cost. He honestly told me that my scar was 10 years old, so it wouldn't be possible to do it once, and that he would take good care of it at a reasonable cost. He gave
me a proper personalized consultation, and explained in detail the surgery time, anesthesia method, and follow-up care. The staff were especially very kind. ㅎㅎ The head of the consultation department explained in detail the things I was curious about.
*Before surgery*
I went with my parents to get the design re-done, and then went straight to the surgery. They said that if you take sleeping pills, you're 1-50 years old, but I think I passed out at around 2. ㅋㅋ The surgery took about an hour, and I kept opening my eyes and checking the lines during the procedure. I was so nervous and out of it that I don't remember the details..ㅎ
*After surgery*
Day 1 (9/27)
After the surgery, the anesthesia wore off and I felt a slight pain for about 2-3 hours, but I took the prescribed medication and it got better. I applied a cold compress, ointment, and used a high pillow to sleep at home.
Day 2 (9/28)
The day after the surgery, I went to the hospital for laser treatment to manage swelling and pain. They explained swelling management again at that time, and told me to apply ointment well and take medicine regularly because there could be bruising and pain. And since I had a little swelling, they also gave me an injection to reduce the swelling(?). Before stitch removal, they told me that I could come in anytime if I wanted laser treatment.
Day 7 (10/3)
I was so worried before stitch removal that it didn't hurt as much as I thought. I still had bruises and swelling, so they told me to take good care of them. And after stitch removal, I had to apply scar ointment, and they told me that I could buy it at a regular pharmacy, so I bought it cheaply at a regular pharmacy. They told me to apply it twice a day for about 6 months, so I've been applying it diligently.
Day 29 (10/25)
As of now, the swelling has gone down a lot, and the bruising has almost all gone.
I've heard a lot of people around me say that my lines are so pretty and that my double eyelid surgery turned out well!!! Thank you so much for doing such a great job .
I removed the previous incision line and got a line right away!! I still have the previous scar, but I'm going to keep applying ointment and watch the progress.
They said that since the forehead scar is 10 years old, it's hard to get rid of it all at once. So I think I'll have to get laser treatment several times depending on the period of time. I've only had it once, and it's gotten a little smaller, but I don't think it had much of an effect!
